Short Stories

Lilanthro's FlowerIn March 2011, after a mini meditation moment, a short story came to me. I imagined my way through the story, or it imagined its way through me, and then I decided to give it words on my blog.

Lilanthro's StoryFor the following 10 months, in the midst of travelling and writing about cetacean conservationists, meeting Bruno, getting married and moving countries, I blogged a raw 15 chapters of the story, attempting to write without self-judgment or editing.

I called it ‘An Unnamed Story in the Making’ as I had no idea what title it should have, although by the end of writing it, I nicknamed it ‘Lilanthro’s Story’. I gained immense pleasure, purpose and meaning from writing it, it became a living thing for me and, incidentally, my longest short story to date.

I would be grateful to any readers who would like to read Lilanthro’s Story and even more grateful for any feedback.
