In March 2011, after a mini meditation moment, a short story came to me. I imagined my way through the story, or it imagined its way through me, and then I decided to give it words on my blog.
For the following 10 months, in the midst of travelling and writing about cetacean conservationists, meeting Bruno, getting married and moving countries, I blogged a raw 15 chapters of the story, attempting to write without self-judgment or editing.
I called it ’An Unnamed Story in the Making’ as I had no idea what title it should have, although by the end of writing it, I nicknamed it ‘Lilanthro’s Story’. I gained immense pleasure, purpose and meaning from writing it, it became a living thing for me and, incidentally, my longest short story to date.
I would be grateful to any readers who would like to read Lilanthro’s Story and even more grateful for any feedback.
Thanks for reading!
